Done with sports (for a while at least)...

Andrew played his last lacrosse game two weeks ago, and Nathan played his last soccer game Saturday. Pheww! I love it when sports come to an end. They are so much fun, but by the end of the season you are just ready for it to be over with! The practices take up so much time, and your Saturdays are just filled with watching games.

Nathan's team was cute. As you can see in the pictures, we couldn't find his soccer shirt for the last day. Who knows where it went. At least we found a red shirt, right?

I love it when they all go after the ball at the same time, even trying to kick it away from their own team-mates! It is such a cute age...I like this so much better than when they are older and so competitive. I love that they don't even know who won the game.

Speaking of competitive, Andrew played lacrosse for Lone Peak High School. He actually had a great time. Practices were for 2 hours every day, for the most part. He was on the Freshman/Sophmore team and they had a good season. Their Varsity team took state this year. I did the scorekeeping for his team. It was a great way to get to know and understand the game better. Since this was such a bad winter/spring, the games were brutally cold. Most of them were in the middle of wind/snow/hail. Super cold! I'm not sure I will do it next year just because of that...I'm too much of a wimp!

Now that sports are over (until football starts in a month or two), we are going to start doing our yard on Saturdays. The weather is finally good enough. I am looking forward to school ending the next two weeks as well. Look at all the free time we will have now!

I am so glad for you to be done for a short time...well with at least sports, I know you guys are busy with just normal teenage stuff. You are such a fun mom to do the score keeping. What a great way to be involved with them, thanks for the great example!
