Pisa Pisa...

Pisa was a surprisingly small area. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, as well as other buildings, were really white and beautiful.

We dropped President Acerson off at the chapel, there in Pisa, to interview the missionaries. They had a bit of a crazy investigator that wanted to take us to see the tower. My sister would not approve of me blogging the details of that eventful trip. Let's just say that it was an extremely interesting experience.

My only disappointment with Pisa was that my picture in front of the leaning tower is terrible. There are certain pictures that are "once in a lifetime" pictures, and this was one of them. But, I will not be framing this one! I have actually had 2 shots at "once in a lifetime" pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Both trips produced horrible pictures of me there as well. I guess I do not photograph well under pressure. Oh well, here is the picture, to at least prove I was there...

Speaking of pictures of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I wish I would have gotten more like this one. Karen even told me to take some of the people posing for photos. It was absolutely hilarious! They were so clever with the poses. And, it was funny to look up the sidewalk and see 20 or so people all posing. When you couldn't see the tower behind them, it was hysterical. Let's just say that we were a little pre-occupied by the happenings with our investigator friend to take the proper pictures!

Now this picture, of Elder Greener, (I asked his permission to use it on my blog) is a great one! I love the pictures of the missionaries in different locations. They look so much more sophisticated than the typical tourist! The scaffolding isn't there either, which makes it look so much better! Maybe I will find a good picture of me and photoshop myself in this one!
