Harrison's fourth grade class went on a field trip to Temple Square in Salt Lake City. I went along as a chaperone and I had such a great experience spending time with one of my favorite boys in the world! We love Harrison's teacher, Mrs. Knight. She is the one on the back row, third from the right. She is about the same height as the kids, so she blends in with the kids!
Harrison still likes to hold my hand in front of his friends. I know that doesn't last too much longer, so I want to take every opportunity I can to be with him on events like these.
We had tours of the Beehive House, Temple Square and The Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We got to go to a room at the JSMB that overlooked the temple, it was such a beautiful view.
I love the decor in the JSMB. At one point, the tour guide was talking about all of the gold leafing around the building. Harrison asked how much gold was actually in the building and how much it was all worth. That was pretty impressive to the boys!
These were the boys that I was in charge of all day long. I had my work cut out for me, that's for sure!

What a fun field trip! I love that Harrison still likes to hold you hand, how awesome!! You take great pictures, by the way.
What an awesome way to spend the day with your boy! And what an awesome field trip for school--these kids will have such significant memories to look back on after a day spent on Temple Square. How wonderful!
How great that a school class can tour Temple Square. My kids got field trips to National Parks, but environmental indoctrination came alone with that. What a fun day!
What a fun experience for you! And especially with all those fun boys! I haven't heard of a school field trip to the temple, that's a once in a lifetime experience - What a good mom!
Girl, you can snap some pretty amazing shots!!!
