This is for all of my crazy, insane friends who love Twilight; but, especially for my daughter, Janessa. When she found out I was going to Italy, she told me to PLEASE go to Volterra. Which means absolutely nothing to me, since I couldn't even make it through the first book (please, no stone throwing). And, after reading excerpts from the 3rd and 4th books, I have since pulled all Twilight books from Janessa's shelves. She can put them back on the shelf maybe when she is 18. Let me just tell you, I am not her favorite person in the house now. Hope this makes up for it. I wasn't able to go to Volterra, but San Gimignano was about 20 miles away. So, I snapped these pictures with hopes to earn some points for the effort...

It would have been so fun if you could have gone! The movie is coming out are you going to let Janessa see it?
My girls aren't allowed to read those books until they're married! I think you're a great mom and would have done the exact same thing.
I don't need to be stoned to death like you, but I'm sure a few stones should be thrown my way. I like the books, but don't LOVE them. They are a fun read, but have in no way, shifted my life. To be honest, I have no idea what those pictures have to do with the books!
Ya, I actually agree. Married might be the best. But, for me, 18 years old IS being married...ha, ha, ha.
I guess Volterra, Italy is the city that the vampires lived in. Janessa was dying, wanting me to go there so badly and take pictures. The directional sign, pointing towards the city, was as close as I was willing to get to vampires, or that dumb book! :)
