We had a very nice Father's Day. We were invited over to Rick's parent's house for dinner, so we got to spend quality time with his Dad. I sure love it when they invite us over for dinner...it sure makes Sunday's nicer. We love Jane & Leslie's cooking (we had yummy steaks and salads) and the company was just wonderful. It was nice for Rick to be with his Dad on that special day, as well as the kids with their Grandpa. We are happy to live so close that we have these opportunities.
Rick had a nice Father's Day as well. He has decided to go on a 150 mile bike ride with Andrew through Yellowstone next month. He bought a new road bike and for Father's Day we got him some much-needed equipment for his new hobby. The other day he rode to the church and back (maybe a mile?) and was panting and exhausted. Granted, we have a TON of steep hills around us. He is hoping to slowly work up to a 150 mile ride in 4 weeks. Please start praying for him!
