Missionaries in Naples...

I always have thought Naples sounded like a nice place. Apparently, it isn't that great at all. I didn't ever realize that it was a bit dirty and a little crazy. I guess there was a whole garbage thing a while ago...I saw it on the news once, but didn't pay a lot of attention at the time. Karen was shocked to see that it was cleaned up when we drove through, I guess it was pretty bad. Something to do with the mafia controlling the picking up of garbage. We mostly went around in different little areas/towns near Naples that were beautiful.

We did drop President off to do his missionary interviews, right in the heart of Naples. We met the missionaries there on the curb. Doesn't this picture just make you want to stop what you are doing and write to your missionaries?

Naples is also one of the scariest places to drive in Italy. Karen actually drove us all to Pompeii, after dropping President off. She got us there safely, if you can believe it...her driving fits in much better here than in Utah, and she agrees.
